Lob Five Times Before Attempting a Pass
The Situation
You are pinned at the back and opponents control the net.
What To Do
Do not attempt passing shots from the back court. Lob patiently and consistently β five, six, seven times if needed. Make them play overheads until they miss.
Why It Works
The Padel School identifies this as the most important lesson for players losing from the back: your job is to extend the rally, not end it. Passing shots at pace against a well-positioned net pair carry very low success rates. Patient lobbing wins points by attrition β even professionals make overhead errors under sustained pressure.
Court Positioning
Both defenders at baseline β repeated high lobs to back corners β net pair plays overhead after overhead β error or short lob eventually creates attack opportunity.

Skill Level
Bandeja: Shuffle Back, Slice, Return Forward
You are lobbed while at the net. The lob is medium depth β not short enough to attack, not deep enough to let bounce.
VΓbora Only on Short Lobs β Never Deep
The opponent lobs short β the ball is above shoulder height and well inside the service line.
Always Lob to the Backhand Overhead Side
You are choosing where to direct your lobs from the back of the court.
