The Situation
You have just played a deep lob that sends opponents retreating.
What To Do
The moment your lob is deep, both players advance together to the net. Do not wait — move immediately while they are running back.
Why It Works
A deep lob creates a role reversal: they retreat, you advance. This is the fundamental transition opportunity in padel. Players who stay back after a good lob waste the opening entirely. Both players must move simultaneously — one advancing without the other creates a gap.
